Apple to launch music streaming service next month

It appears that Apple is set to launch its music streaming service at the opportune time. According to a report by The Motley Fool,  other music streaming services are reporting that streaming music revenue has gone up over the last year which indicates that the market is ripe for Apple. However, unlike the other services, Apple has a legit chance to take command of this market due to its unique features and exclusive content.

Apple's music streaming service is rumored to be subscription based and built on the iTunes platform. Additionally, with all of the exclusive content that Apple has acquired over the last few years, it can provide music that other streaming services can't. Plus, Apple is so ingrained in our culture that many people are going to eat up this music streaming service because they already have other Apple products like the iPhone and iPad.

Another interesting note from Motley Fool's article is that by 2020 there's going to be an estimated 250 million global subscribers to music streaming services. Once again, proving that Apple is coming in at the right time.

Will you switch to Apple's music streaming service when it launches?
