'Hank Hazard' Is A Hazardously Addicting Physics Puzzle Game

Chillingo and Red Rocket Games Inc. bring us Hank Hazard, a physics based puzzle game whose star is the adorably wide eyed Hank Hazard. Hank is a hamster whose dream is to be the first and foremost hamster daredevil in all the world. With bright and colorful graphics, over ninety levels, and lots of different exciting ways to get Hank to his destinations, this game will take care of your hankerin' for an addictive arcade/puzzler. Playing Hank Hazard involves getting little Hank, all squished up inside his little hamster ball, from the level's starting point to the giant bull's eye target. Getting to the target is achieved by popping platforms, punching his ball into the air, and dropping heavy crates on movable platforms to launch your new favorite hamster daredevil across the screen in true Evel Knievel fashion. It's fun. It's adorable.

Of course, there are what seems like an infinite number of puzzle games in the same vein as Hank Hazard out there. So why does this one stand out above many of them? Here's why: it has depth and it's actually challenging. Irritatingly challenging at times. In addition to level completion, there are special achievements for each and every stage, and there are bonus coins and unlockables that can be picked up along the way for more gameplay. This game seems like it will go on forever to me. There are over ninety levels, and even though the levels are short, chances are you'll get to a point where you get stuck and fail to get Hank to the target fourteen times in a row.
