This app makes learning fun and of course, it is aimed at children. This app is available on the iPhone and iPad devices and works extremely well on both of them, although the big screen does have an advantage of course. Basically, PlayBC is an interactive alphabet app and there is no doubt, children will have hours of fun with this app. Of course, one of the most important things with an app that is aimed at children, whether educational or not, is that it looks great. PlayBC certainly has pulled this off. There is no doubt that the interface has been well thought out and uses vibrant colours to keep the child's attention. As well as this, the app is very clever in its conception as your child will actually end up learning the alphabet without even realising it. Basically, this app represents each letter with an object, plant or animal meaning that your child can learn, while looking at really cool, stunning pictures on the iPad display. The game/app is a learning tool and has a number of cool features such as the pronunciation of the letters through audio clips and much more. There are also really smooth animations and colourful graphics that all add to the experience. The interface has been well thought out meaning that your child will be able to navigate the app easily, and efficiently. Another cool thing is that you can track any progress your child makes in the app through the testing modes. This is a real nifty feature that allows you to see if your money was well spent.
