Lil' Kingdom App Review

Reviews

Lil' Kingdom App Review Lil' Kingdom Price: Free For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 3rd generation/4th generation, iPad Produced by Glu Games Inc., Lil' Kingdom gives you the ability to manage, construct, upgrade, and maintain a castle of your own through a cutesy fantasy world.  With good graphics and gameplay that vaguely reminds me of Animal Crossing, you have the ability to assemble your own castle, building various levels deeper and deeper into the underground. It is a role-playing game, and requires you to be entirely attentive to all the goings-on in your castle.  When you first interact with the app, you get helped through the basics of organizing and maintaining the castle.  For instance, you are guided through completing a floor, moving in a tenant, constructing a business, and hiring the tenant as an employee.  These are the basics you need to understand before you can begin managing a fully functional castle. The game has a wide variety of characters, entertainment, and items to collaborate with while constructing your own castle (which you have the opportunity to name upon the start of the game).  You must deal with wizards, dwarfs, and an eclectic group of citizens who come knocking at your door.  While you have the ability to deny or accept the potential tenants, individuals like the wizard or the dwarf are quite helpful: wizards restock your industry floors, while dwarfs complete floors that are under construction.Lil' Kingdom App Review In addition to managing the castle, you also are given tasks to complete from the castle princess (who you also have the ability to name).  You are given a certain time limit for these tasks, and upon completion are rewarded with a bonus, which is determined by a lottery system.  Nicely enough, these are kept track of along the bottom bar of the screen.  On the top of the screen the number of tenants are on the left side, and the number of floors in your castle are on the right side. The game is relatively easy to use and play with, as notifications appear along the bottom portion of the screen, and each individual who enters the castle tells you to which floor they would like to go.  Upon adding floor after floor and hiring everyone for jobs, the game definitely becomes one that you need to constantly keep an eye on in order to achieve the most rewards and money.
