LabGear app review: an advanced resource for medical laboratory tests for all health care professionals 2021

Introduction

What we have here is a very advanced medical laboratory app designed specifically to provide health care professionals with a quick, convenient, and most importantly, accurate way of obtaining the information they need when they need it.

I’m going to be completely honest here by saying that the vast majority of the content within this Labgear iPhone app is well and truly lost on this humble writer!

Having said that, I can definitely vouch for the efficacy of the lab tests app for iPhone itself, in terms of the interface design and the easy access it provides to the information.

I’ve reviewed a fair few medical resource apps over the past year or so, and this is easily the best-presented development of its kind that I’ve personally seen.

That is something I can talk about with some confidence, even if I don’t have a clue what most of the content actually means. Let's see if this is one of the best science apps for iPhone. 

Your One-Stop Comprehensive Medical Resource

LabGear - Medical Lab Values & Reference guide contains a comprehensive library of medical laboratory tests which come complete with differential diagnoses and symptoms that can be related to these conditions.

Within this app you’ll find testing panels catering to a vast number of systems throughout the body, including endocrine, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, immune, and many more.

You’ll also find the following panels:

• Basic and Comprehensive Metabolic Panels
• Arterial Blood Gases                
• Liver Panel
• Lipid Panel
• Complete Blood Picture
• Coagulation Profile
• Diabetic Profile

As I said, much of this information is lost on me, but it certainly seems like a highly comprehensive collection of medical lab tests.

Back Up Your Content With Dropbox Integration

All of the information pertaining to the diagnosis of medical conditions is very heavily referenced, with citations and links to PubMed.

You’ll also be pleased to know that you can very easily create a digital backup copy of any notes that you make via iCloud. This is also a great way of keeping a record of your bookmarks that you can use for quick and easy future reference.

I don’t really have much else to say about LabGear - Medical Lab Values & Reference guide. It’s a very high-quality development and a great resource to have on your iPhone and iPad, so it definitely receives my recommendation.
