The Stork Drop app can be used on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone to provide you with all kinds of fabulous suggestions when it comes to boy and girl names. Because you're bound to have a few favorites and likely change your mind during pregnancy and even right after the baby is born, you can store names you like on a favorites list so you can keep track of the top runners.

Of course with that said often parents feel a lot of pressure to find the name that suits their new bundle of joy perfectly. The app isn't new, which is fine, but it also hasn't had any updates in almost three years. The last update included additional baby names being added. The app has three out of five stars in customer ratings, which leaves room for improvement. It seems that another update is in order at this point.

Currently the app has more than 7,000 names in its database. Besides just the name you can also see its meaning, origin, popularity shown in a graph, and its popularity statistic. As mentioned whenever you come across a name you want to remember and consider you can add it to your favorites list.

When you launch the app you are given a quick intro to the app, which works as a stork, but drops names rather than babies for you to check out. When you find one you like, drag it to your favorites list. You can enter in your due date so that you will see a countdown each time you enter the app. What I don’t like is that the names really are just dropped on the screen. It is very cluttered and messy and makes it hard to actually focus on any one name. I much prefer going through the Name Lists, and A-Z names.

The Stork Drop app can be used on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone and gives you a way to discover and read about boy and girl names for your baby. Unfortunately the app feels a bit tired and dull and really doesn’t offer anything unique.
