Introduction

NAIPS is a very useful app for iPhone and iPad that has been designed to provide pilots with extensive coverage of weather conditions and NOTAM information so that they can make informed decisions about their flight paths.

I should probably start this review by pointing out that the vast majority of the language used in this app is completely lost on this humble reviewer; however, I really like the interface which is both simple and functional at the same time.

I know this akin to saying I like a car “cos it’s red,” but leave me be and let’s get on with the review!

Final Words

With Push notifications for weather alerts, printing, sharing, and editing of information, and restricted airspace coverage, I’d say that NAIPS provides most of, if not all of what most pilots will need to easily plan their flight paths and determine the best times to embark on their journeys.

The content in this iPhone and iPad app might be lost on me but the quality is undeniable so I would very strongly recommend downloading it or at least comparing it with some of the comparable developments available in the Weather and Travel categories of the App Store.
