Devil’s Attorney app review

Reviews

Devil’s Attorney app reviewDevil’s Attorney Price: $2.99 For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad with iOS 4.3 or later. The Devil’s Attorney app by 1337 Game Design AB has you playing a high-cost defense attorney named Max McMann who defends people who actually committed the crimes with which they are charged. Unlike a game of similar name, you don’t conversations and game-style investigations. Instead, you have turn-based battles. Every case has you taking on a team of units with evidence, prosecutors, and witnesses where you fight against the prosecution’s team using all your courthouse skills. Some lessen the prosecutor’s damage done to you, some deal damage to the prosecutor, and others increase your defense. All of the skills you use will cost you action points, of which you have only a small amount each turn. What you need to do is figure out how to evenly spread your action points among skills so that you can knock out your opponent as quickly and efficiently as possible. The sooner you do so, the more case bonuses you will receive. You do get a few skills at the start, but be careful because for each skill you buy, one is made unavailable to you; deliberate over every purchase in order to build the best court strategy. The app has great voice acting and writing, which makes Devil’s Attorney so enjoyable and addictive. Every verbal sparring match will make you chuckle, while you should listen, because each one contributes to the story and you will need to remember those conversations during future contact.
