Turn Off the Lights app reviewV for Vampire

Price: $0.99

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later

V for Vampire by Xendex is a physics-based puzzle game with a twist.

Instead of the usual birds, animals, or other theme typical to these apps, V for Vampire features a vampire. The app was featured as the App Store’s #2 Paid Games in Romania. In this game, you join the little vampire as he has a birthday party. All of his best – and his worst – friends are there. Your goal is to make it through four different worlds.

At the end of his quest is several beautiful princesses whose blood he desires. Party-goers are determined to get in your way. You’ll have to work your way past angry bats, nerdy skeletons, and witty witches.

Your objective is to turn off all light sources using bombs and stones, water, magic mushrooms, smoke, and other tools. Earn up to three sculls in each level and find secret gifts. You can also unlock bonus levels as you play. The app has over 35 levels with realistic physics and an array of ammo you can use.

The worlds are The Catacombs, The Spooky Castle, The Enchanted Forest, and The Hell Caves. If the going gets tough, you can use the in-app solutions to help you along. You can also buy extra ammo using the in-app purchases.

V for Vampire is good for kids nine and older. It’s available in English only. There are currently not enough customer ratings for iTunes to display an average and there are no customer feedback comments yet so if you love this game as much as we do, make sure you leave a comment. Try it out today and experience an all-new type of physics puzzle. Check out the trailer on YouTube here.
