Sooner by SMS Services O.o.o. is a to-do list and weekly planner app for iOS.
If you’ve tried out planner apps before, you’ll know that they’re pretty much all the same, with minor differences in design, layout, or user interface. With Sooner, you’ll notice fairly quickly that it’s nothing like the others. It has a circular design that makes adding new events easy as pie and quick, too.
The app offers two dials: one for the categories of tasks, and one for a calendar. The categories wheel is color-coded and you can add and customize as you like. Each category becomes a pie wedge with an icon of a teardrop in the center. Drag the tear drop to the place where you want to add an event within a category, with the lower-priority stuff near the center and the highest-priority events near the outer edge.
In Calendar mode, the outer rim lists the days of the week, and the dial spins through the hours. A line separates each day. Like with the category section, all you have to do is drag the teardrop to the date and time you want, and add the event or task. Although the Category wheel doesn’t sync with the Calendar wheel, you can sync your agenda with iCal.
Sooner was released in December 2012 and is a fabulous app for those who need to organize their agendas and to-do lists. There are not yet enough customer ratings for iTunes to display an average but feedback comments are positive.
