Video for Kik by NiXPA lets you send video messages to your friends and family.

This app is meant to enhance your Kik experience giving you another way to socialize with your contacts. You can use the app to record short video messages (approximately eight seconds) that you can then send through Kik Messenger.

Send your message to one contact or a group of people. This is ideal when planning a group gathering so you can send everyone information all in one go.

If you upgrade to the premium version the length of the video recording increases to up to 45 seconds. This can be added for $0.99. Other in-app options include enabling high quality video recording for $0.99 and removing the ads also priced at $0.99.

Using the app is extremely quick and easy. When you launch the app just pick the gallery to find a previously recorded video, or the camera option to record a brand new video using your device's camera.

This app comes in handy when you want to convey a message with emotion, excitement, and feeling. It’s also great when you just want to send that quick message that you aren’t able to type out.

Video by Kik was updated on Aug. 1, 2012 and currently has 985 customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars.

I found this app really quick and easy to use, as it wasn’t bogged down with all kinds of extra features that don’t even need or want. I did however find that the standard free message simply wasn’t long enough so upgrading to the premium version was a must.
