Alabama SAF-T-Net app review: always be aware of severe weather

Reviews

Alabama SAF-T-Net

Price: Free

Alabama SAF-T-Net by Baron Servivce Inc acts as a wonderful weather tool for those living in the Alabama region.

Now you will never be without the weather details include severe weather alerts for threats. This app is meant to not only help you plan your day and activities by viewing the current and upcoming weather conditions but to keep all residents alerted to the threats of severe weather so you have the time to take proper precautions.

The app allows you to choose four specific areas that you want to monitor for severe weather, including your device's current location. Push notifications will be sent to you should severe weather be predicted in any of those locations. There is even a special Baron Tornado Index rating with a 15 minute lead time so you have time to react.

The alert types are tornadoes, flash floods, severe thunderstorms, twisting storm approaching, dangerous storm approaching, and storms entering your area. Thanks to this app no severe alert will get by you unnoticed. Think of this app as an automatic weather warning service and tool that allows you to set up and customize the areas you are watching out for.

Of course you can also use it for everyday weather services as well such as hourly, three-day, and seven-day forecasts. View your current weather based on your location.

Alabama SAF-T-Net was released on May 20, 2013 and currently has 10 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

I found this app to be incredibly informative. I liked that you could customize the areas you wanted detailed alert information for.

For: iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad with iOS 5.0 or later. Alabama SAF-T-Net is optimized for iPhone 5.
