Snow Brawlin’

Price: Free

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later

Snow Brawlin’ by Ghost Hand Games, LLC is a fun winter game app where Risoo the squirrel needs your help to protect his turf. He’s decided to wage a snowball war on the invading rodents and you have to make sure he can protect his home.

This is a fast-moving game where you have to tilt your iOS device to help the defending squirrel dodge the inbound snowballs while you tap the screen to launch snowballs back at the bad guys. The longer you survive without being hit, the harder and faster the fight becomes.

This will be a great game to keep you amused while you stand in line to pay during holiday shopping this season. The app has great graphics, detailed background and characters, and a fun gameplay. This is a really solid game that will bring hours of fun to players of all levels. It also boasts Game Center integration so you can compete for leaderboard status.

If you make the in-app purchase of $0.99 for the extras upgrade, you get double power-ups, extra life drops, and you can store unlimited Arctic Blasts. You also get rid of the ads.

Snow Brawlin’ was updated to Version 2.0.1 on November 24, 2012. The upgrade made Game Center bug fixes. The current version of the app has 19 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.Snow Brawlin' app review

This is a totally fun game that provides enough challenge that it will keep me hooked trying to improve my score and get farther along in the game. It’s particularly fun to play while waiting for appointments.
