Auto Request

Price: $0.99

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later

AutoRequest by iCustoms is an app that takes care of that irritating business of exchanging usernames for social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

If you’ve ever written down or typed in someone’s name wrong, leaving you with no way to contact a person you’ve just met, you will know how irritating it is. With AutoRequest, you don’t have to worry about that any more.

When you download this app, you’ll see the main screen with icons of all the supported sites, plus an image of two bumping fists. Down in the bottom right corner you’ll see an image of a gear wheel, which is the symbol for settings. Click on that an you’ll be directed to a page where you enter your usernames: Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinteret, LinkedIn, Google+, and Facebook.

After you’ve input all your info, the same place where you clicked the wheel is now an “x.” Click that and you’ll be taken back to the main screen. You’re ready to exchange info.

To exchange info with someone, launch the app and choose the social media platform user info you want to trade, and then bump phones. Your info will shoot onto that person’s iPhone and his/hers will shoot onto yours. It’s as simple as that.AutoRequest app review

The Auto Request app doesn’t yet have enough customer ratings for iTunes to display an average but there are three feedback comments displayed and they all give the app five out of five stars.

I think this is a great idea; I only hope that everyone gets this app so as to make it easier to exchange info with new friends and contacts.
