Google+ by Google, Inc. is the app to keep you hooked in to the Google+ community on your iPad.

You can post photos, join a Hangout, check in on friends, and add people to Circles.
The iPad-optimized layout is fantastic on the larger screen, so watching videos, doing video chats, and looking at photos is an amazing experience. You can share your photos directly to your Events for everyone in approved Circles to view.

You can participate in video chat with up to nine friends when you use mobile Hangouts.

If you prefer, you can turn on Instant Upload, which lets you sync photos to a private Google+ album from your iPad.

When you want to keep on top of what is going on, you can check out the What’s Hot stream. This shows all popular posts from people you follow. To see what people nearby are saying, have a peek at the Nearby stream.

The high-res images on the iPad’s Retina display are simply stunning.

Google+ was updated to Version 4.2.0 on January 4, 2013. The update made some performance improvements and bug fixes. The app is available in many languages and this version has a total of 271 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback comments are generally positive; however, some complain that Messenger is still not available for iPad.

I really enjoy this app and its simple user interface. I too wish Messenger was available for use on the iPad but other than that, it’s a great app.
