KY3 Weather by KY3 INC is a full-featured weather app that provides all the essential details needed to keep up to date on current weather trends.

KY3 Weather provides an interactive map optimized for WiFi and 3G networks. Enjoy the highest resolution imagery of satellite cloud cover. Take advantage of both horizontal and vertical map display with looping. You will always know where you are with the fully integrated GPS providing current location awareness.

This is a very easy-to-use app and the color coded weather alerts are just one example of the many user-friendly features. This app will provide you with one of the most accurate ten-day forecasts with both hourly and daily updates. The most recent update has provided some much needed bug fixes after the previous update caused many users issues, so make sure to give this app another chance.

KY3 Weather was updated to Version 2.5 on January 22, 2013. It has a total of 21 customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars. Feedback comments are positive with many users frustrated by the previous update, now relieved to find their app is working properly again. Users seem to particularly enjoy the beautiful map resolution, accurate forecasts and the ability to save favorite locations.

Let’s be honest there are a lot of Weather apps out there, but most of them are not quite this good and the ones that are, aren’t usually free. This is a great free weather app and my favorite feature is the earthquake plotting which allows you to simply tap on the earthquake to display its details.
