Bubble Guppies: Animal School Day by Nickelodeon is an adventure story app.

This is a fun app that teaches your kids about animals through mini games and engaging plot lines. As you go along you will encounter lessons about animal diets, habitats, and attributes. Learning about animals is always great fun for children.

As the children follow each animal through its school day they will learn all about that animal and its day-to-day life. As children finish each level they earn gold starfish as a reward which is intended to encourage them to continue.  A little motivation can go a long way and that is the intention of the app: to encourage learning.

As the child earns gold starfish they can visit the Bubble Puppies Doghouse and trade the rewards for interactive prizes. There are over 40 animals to learn about, meaning that your child can earn many rewards and spend many hours educating him- or herself.

The curriculum for this app was developed and reviewed by a preschool education expert to ensure your child gets a put-together learning experience. Instructions for each game are narrated by the voices of the Bubble Guppies and Mr. Grouper.

Bubble Guppies was last updated to Version 1.1 on December 12, 2012 and included some minor fixes. There are currently 33 ratings for the this app with an average score of 4.5 out of five stars.

This app is another great Nickelodeon app with a fun and interactive plot line and a ton of educational content. I and my children had a great time going through it several times.
