Live Results app review

Introduction

Live Results by Big Fish Software is a live sports app that gives you sports results from events that post live event results.

Many sports events these days are linked in somehow to the internet so that they can broadcast both the event and the live results. This makes sure that you can follow along even if you can’t attend the event in person.

Using the Live Results app you simply choose the event you would like to view results from and they are displayed on the screen. Events are organized by event name and when you choose the event you are shown the available heats for each event.

More Information

Live Results currently only tracks events using the SportsSystem Meet Manager software so some event may or may not be available and not all events post the live results. In some cases you can get the start lists for events as well showing heat and lane assignments before the event begins.

Live Results was last updated to Version 2.2 on February 6, 2013 and included the removal of span text on splits. There are currently 8 ratings for this app with an average score of 3.5 stars out of five.

This sports streaming app is pretty cool because it lets you follow a lot of minor events that don’t normally get the big coverage. I like the simple layout and navigating to the event you are looking for is very easy.
