ToonCamera by Code Organa will take your everyday life pictures and turn them into a live cartoon.

This app works as a photo and video tool transforming each into live cartoons. You can even use art effects, and real-time cartoon effects.

Features of the app include being able to choose effects such as ink, stipple, pencil, or cartoon, then customize your effects with line art styles. Use the effects to record video, in your camera feed, convert existing video/photos, and snap photos.

Once you've turned your photo or video into a cartoon you can take advantage of the real-time preview before you save them. Your cartoon can be shared via Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Flickr, Instagram, YouTube, or email.

The latest version of the app has addressed issues that were creating problems when you tried to share your creations on Twitter or YouTube. You'll now be able to easily share them and even take advantage of some new cartoon effects that have been added.

ToonCamera was updated on Dec. 14, 2012 and currently has 76 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

I found the after-effects of this app to be incredible. It was crazy how different your video/photo ended up looking after adding these effects; what a fun way to transform your memories. I really liked using it on video, as the effects were even more incredible. I felt I was watching a cartoon instead of one of my clips.
