This app provides you with the current conditions of the tides gathered from nearby tide stations. You can get such information as the time of the next tide and the last one, and when the moon and sun will set and rise.

The information is all automated as charts, tide tables, and predictions. These details are constantly being updated and gathered from the 2,700 tidal stations located in the U.S.

This latest version also has a number of bug fixes for smoother operation.

When viewing information you can look at your most recent searches, nearby tidal stations, and search by state. Once you click on a state you can check out the cities or stations themselves. If you're into water sports this app clearly has great information for you but even if you don't the tidal conditions are still interesting.

What I liked is when you viewed information on the current tides it not only told you what time of day/night each even happened but then broke it down into how many hours/minutes ago that was or will be. For instance, the app let me know the sun will set in exactly six hours and 45 minutes. I also appreciated that the information was constantly being updated so you could trust it.
