This is the RSV-CE version of the Bible. Besides this, there are also more than 50 Biblical talks that you can purchase. These talks offer a range of topics and there are also free audio presentations from the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology and Dr. Scott Hahn. The audio extras are meant to discuss the Scripture in a more in-depth manner.

The app features relevant commentary and talks that are displayed all through the text, the ability to create your own playlist of favorite verses, then use your playlist to hear the New Testament in chronological order.

There's no need to remember where you left off each time, as the app takes care of that for you. As well there is AirPlay support and a sleep timer. You have the option using the play and pause buttons with headphones.

The app now supports iPhone 5 and iOS 6. They also made a number of bug fixes.

There is another in-app purchase available as well: the Truth and Life radio drama of the full RSV-CE New Testament. You will never be without audio or passages to read!

While being able to read the text through this app is great I think where this app really manages to shine is in its audio offerings. They are not only extensive but well-narrated.
