Amount by Marco Torretta is a super easy-to-use unit converter.

Have you ever been in the middle of really great recipe and you need to convert cups to ounces, or been trying convert fractions to decimal? We have all been there at one time or another. Amount is designed to make figuring out those conversions super quick and very easy.

Amount is so easy to use that all you have to do is input your number and choose the category for conversion. Categories include angles, area, cooking, currency, energy, and more. Once you have input your number and chosen a category Amount gives you a list of all valid conversions.

Amount also stores a list of all past conversions so if you need to look back at a conversion that you’ve used previously it will be readily available. You can also create a favorites list by shaking the device to enter “edit” mode.  Swiping allows you to flip through the various pages of available conversions further adding to the ease-of-use of this app.

Amount was last updated to Version 1.3.6 on March 5, 2013 and included several new conversion categories. There have been 72 ratings for this app with an average score of 4.5 out of five stars.

I found this app to be super easy to use and almost fun at times. Converting items is so quick and easy that I almost want to sit and do it just for fun.
