MyScript Memo by Vision Objects is a productivity app for your iPad which allows you to convert handwritten notes to digital text.

With this app you can go ahead and jot down notes with your own handwriting while on the go. When you're ready you can then convert these notes to text so you can share and export them to Facebook, Evernote, Gmail, Twitter, or copy and paste them to a text application.

This is meant to be a convenient app so that no matter where you are if an idea comes to mind, you need to jot down a to-do list, or start your grocery list you can do so quickly and easily. The app is recognizes 31 languages.

Besides just text you can also use it for pictures, drawings, diagrams, and handwritten annotations.

Features of the app include being able to export a full memo as an image, move images/pictures, and perform editing functions. Stay organized by viewing your notes as thumbnails and at any time you're able to delete and create more notes.

You'll be able to use the pen tool in order to write your notes or make drawings. Rub out what you want to erase, make use of the undo/redo feature, and a long tap will let you change the thickness and color of the ink.

MyScript Memo was updated on Oct. 31, 2012 and currently has 445 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

Being able to take notes and write down thoughts on the go was something I found very useful. This was a quick way to get my thoughts down and then later convert them and share them.
