XFINITY Connect by Comcast Cable Communications makes sure that even if you're on the go you can still be connected to what's important through your iPad.

With this app you'll be able to check your Comcast.net email from any place and at any time. You can also receive and send text messages and of course check your XFINITY voicemail. You don't even have to be without your call display as you can check who called your home phone from your mobile device. Go ahead and forward all your calls if you'd rather so you don't miss an important one.

Use the app to check out your account information, set up an automated bill payment, or pay your bill right away.

This app features a brand-new feel and look that is meant to be streamlined and fresh. Now you can create groups and favorites to help organize your information and messages. Along those same lines are the filtering features that make it fast and simple to organize text messages by contact, voicemails, and emails.

As an added bonus you can use this app to send free text messages to U.S. and Canadian numbers. You don't even need a texting plan with your mobile provider to use this feature. And yes, this is also available on your iPod touch and iPad.

What stood out immediately about this app was how user-friendly it is. I was able to easily navigate the app and perform all kinds of tasks. The fact that I could send text messages for free was also something that I saw as a huge bonus.
