Strategy & Tactics: World War II is a fantastic strategy game for your iOS device.

This app lets you relive and fight in the greatest battles of World War II. You can rule the Axis to take Europe and then switch to command the Allies and USSR to retake it.

This uses a classic turn-based battle system where you’ll fight three campaigns against AI enemies. Your troops are historically-accurate, and you’ll fight in 18 missions all across Africa, Europe, and Asia.

Your job will be to find new technologies, build industry, improve your army, and win!

On top of those games, there are also WiFi and hot seat multiplayer modes, skirmish games, and different classic scenarios for you to play.

The user interface is simple and easy to understand.

The free portion of this app gets you three missions of Axis Campaign, one skirmish mode map, one game scenario, one hot-seat multiplayer mode map, and one cross-platform multiplayer mode via WiFi map. The premium version gives you access to tons more content for $6.99. There are also other in-app purchases you can make.

Strategy & Tactics: World War II was released mid-March, 2013. The app is available in English and Russian and is recommended for kids nine and up due to the mild realistic violence. The app has 41 customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars. Feedback comments are all positive.

I’m not a huge WWII fan but I can see how any strategy gamer or World War II fan would find this game amazing. The gameplay is awesome, and reminds me of the game Axis and Allies that an old friend used to play. Check it out.
