Clipped by Clipped Labs is an app that captures news from various sources across the Internet and summarizes the most important information into easily-digestible bullet points.

With this app, you will be able to quickly read the day’s breaking news in one place rather than having to scour the Internet and sift through lengthy articles.

Clipped Labs have developed a complex algorithm that enables this app to scan an article to decide what the most important information contained within it is. This means you will be provided with all of the events of the day in a reliable format that will enable you to get your news fast.

Clipped was released in late-December of 2012 and has received a total of 183 customer ratings with an average rating of 2.5 out of 5 stars.

I’m not too keen on the mandatory Facebook or Twitter sign-in and I think future updates will refine this otherwise unpolished stone of an app. With a few tweaks to the algorithm and some overall enhancements, this app will revolutionize the way you read your daily news.
