Pavlov Dog Monitor app review

Pavlov Dog Monitor

Price: $4.99 (as of May 3, 2013, marked down to $3.99)

Pavlov Dog Monitor by Cheviot Hills LLC takes the difficulty out of training your dog by letting the dog train itself.

If you're confused about how your dog will train itself you'll want to check this app out and see first-hand how it works. The app uses a variety of tools that work by rewarding your dog when you're not there.

In order to begin you'll need to set up a custom video that will be played for the dog. In this video you'll either say "bad dog" or "good dog" and that's it. The app will listen in on the dog's behavior and when it hears the dog barking it will get a "bad dog" message. Meanwhile as long as the dog is quiet it will get a "good dog" message.

For anxious dogs this is a way of settling them down after you've left. They will hear your voice and also understand if their behavior is acceptable or not. Where the app gets really cool is that owners can view how the sessions are going thanks to the Facebook Remote Monitor that you can check out from any computer. The dog's behavior will be tracked daily and they'll be given a letter grade on how they did. You should see the letter improve over time.

Pavlov Dog Monitor was released on Mar. 2, 2013 and currently has 13 customer ratings with an average rating of five out of five stars.

I really liked that not only were you able to leave something for your dog to help calm it and set up good behavior patterns but the fact you could remotely monitor how the dog was doing was really fun.
