Learn Italian by Codeagent means you can stop putting off the desire to learn Italian and instead use your iPad as your personal Italian tutor.

This app takes a very simple and easy-to-understand approach to learning Italian but using a phrasebook. It's ideal for those people who will be traveling to Italy and would like to learn some common words/phrases to use while visiting.

Features of this app include more than 200 phrases in the free version which all offer high quality audio spoken by a native speaker. There is a list of translated phrases that are common and essential. If you choose to upgrade to the full version you'll have over 800 phrases in total.

When you're playing back the phrases you can adjust the audio speed to make sure you catch all the proper pronunciation. There is no Internet connection needed, which makes the app perfect when traveling around. You can store all your frequently used phrases in a Favorites section so you can quickly find them again. There is also a search feature where you can type in keywords.

In the free version the categories you will be given phrases in are transportation, directions and places, time and date, numbers, general conversation, and greetings.

This is a great tool to have with you while traveling through Italy. It covers many of the most basic phrases you’ll find yourself needing. I really liked that you could adjust the speed of the audio so no matter how tough the words were you could catch them.
