The app uses a 3D motion recognition algorithm that tracks your walking patterns. Features
Features of the app include a daily log history of step counts, calories, distance, and walking time. The pedometer will start tracking after four to 12 consecutive steps, then stops and starts as you do. There are charts that show your daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly step counts. As well there is a music player, the ability to share your log on Facebook, email a daily log file, resume/pause, and make use of customization settings. The customization settings include body weight, daily goal, step distance, metric/English, and sensitivity.
It should be noted that the app works best when your mobile device is attached to your waist belt.
