Publix app review: grocery lists, special offers, prescription refills and much more 2021

Reviews

Introduction

Make your trip to your local Publix store easier and more enjoyable with this app for groceriy lists which enables you to plan your meals with shopping lists, access exclusive coupons and discounts, and even search for your nearest Publix store with the Store Locator.

Like so many supermarket apps, Publix is good but not great; there are definitely some handy features here but it doesn’t seem as if enough attention has gone into the finer points that make an app user-friendly and actually create something that people really want to use.

This Publix prescription refills app offers some usage for frequent Publix shoppers, so be sure to check it out and see what you think.

Keep reading our Publix grocery shopping app review for more details. It might just be the best grocery list app for your needs.

Saving You Time at the Store

This app is well worth checking out if you’re a regular Publix customer; there is a Weekly Ad feature which will show you the latest sale items, including those much-loved BOGOs - based on what you’ve chosen as your local store, plus you can sort all of the sale items according to their category or department.

You’ll need to create an account to gain full access to the features and the registration process is very simple; it took less than a minute for me. From here, you can begin putting together grocery lists from the various product lists in the app.

I especially like the way that the app organizes your list based on which aisles they’re found in at the store. Having this kind of information shaves minutes off of grocery trips and if you’re anything like me, this makes the app a heck of a lot more appealing.

More Details About The App

With your My Publix account, you can easily manage all of your food lists, recipes, and coupons from within the app and there’s a handy little feature which lets you email this information.

I like this because I can throw together a shopping list or amend an existing one and send it to my partner if she’s on her way to Publix.

There’s also loads of video content in this app with recipes and ideas for a massive variety of different cuisines to suit any event, and some of them are nicely sorted according to course such as entrees, appetizers, and so on.

This alone has inspired me to try out some more interesting culinary experiments but let’s please not talk about the results!

The developers are constantly tweaking things under the hood to make sure this app's performance and stability are top notch.

Is it Worth it?

With apps like this that are designed primarily to save time, I always like to ask the question of whether it’s actually worth taking the time to download, install, and learn how to use it.

For those of you who don’t regularly shop at Publix, I’d have to say probably not, but if you are a regular customer then, at the very least, the Publix app is worth checking out.

If you can get your head around how to quickly make grocery lists, and if the coupons and discounts are on items you would normally buy, then I think you’ll benefit from using this app.

The latest update has included some very positive tweaks and bug fixes so it looks like the developer is paying attention to customer feedback; I think we’ll continue to see some solid improvements in future updates.
