Every once in a while an app comes along that sort of blows your mind, and Tipit video editor definitely qualifies. This awesome video app is the brainchild of Tipit Ltd. and with it you're going to be able to create some pretty wild videos. When it comes to video and vine editing apps there's lots of competition, but Tipit Video Editor is a little different in that it's also a social media app. If you enjoy exploring your creative side by creating your own video masterpieces, and you also love to share your ideas with your friends, this is the app for you. This is a free app and it is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
With all the competition in the video editor section of the app store, as we've suggested , you've got to have something a little special to stand out from the crowd. Most video editing apps will allow you to crop your pictures, cut out certain sections, and add some special effects. Tipit Video Editor actually takes it to another level – you can easily add features to your videos and manipulate them in just about any way shape or form. It's a whole lot of fun!
The great thing about Tipit Video Editor is that it is completely free – you don't have to worry about any ads, they don't pester you to buy any in app purchases, and they're not constantly bugging you to rate their app. The only major criticism I have of this app is that they don't provide you with a comprehensive set of instructions. There is a bit of a walk-through at the beginning of the app the first time you use it, but there's no way to go back and look at it as far as I can tell later. It's not a difficult app to use, but there are a few interesting quirks that could use a bit of instruction. This app will require 43.5 MB of available space on your iOS device.
The first thing you have to do when you open up the app is to either log on as a guest, or sign up as a member. If you log on as a guest you'll only be able to view other people's videos in the social media feed. To be able to add your own videos and edit them, you'll have to sign up for a membership. You can sign up for a membership either by using your existing Facebook account or by using your email to create a username and password. Once you sign up for a membership you're ready to start making your own masterpieces. The Best video apps for the iPad
To start creating your own edited videos you can either use the app to take a new video, or choose an existing video from your library. Once you've selected a video you'll see dozens of different icons and stickers that you can use enhance your videos at the bottom of the screen. Simply tap on one of these, place it on your video, and move it around as your video plays. Once you save this and play it back you'll see the effects move around the screen creating a pretty cool effect.
After you've saved your video you can either share it with other Tipit users, or you can share it via your other social media outlets such as Facebook ad Twitter. If you tap on the little person icon at the bottom of your screen you'll see your video saved as a post that you can review at any time.
You'll also notice other social media features here such as followers, and the people that are following you. If you tap on the home screen icon at the bottom of the screen you can actually view other people's videos in the social media feed and you can like them, leave comments, or do just about anything else that you can on other social media platforms.
Tipit Video Editor is a fantastic video editing tool. It might not be one of the best iPad and iPhone video editing apps, but it certainly is a lot of fun.
