Bubble Rival review

Match three games—or you can also otherwise refer to it as “tile” games—are really a dime a dozen these days. But where its obvious predecessor—the 16 bit game Bust A Move—seems like an anomaly in the era where it once belonged in, its pick up and play formula feels really right at home in the small confines of your iPhone or iPad. And really, it should be in this mindset on which you have to tackle Bubble Rival upon coming in: sure, barely none of the elements present in the game can ever count as “original” in this universe, but at least it handles its gameplay mechanics with such panache that you can’t help but be addicted to it, all the same.
