Deer Hunter Reloaded app review

Here’s one hint: this app is not a reference to Rober De Niro’s Vietnam-era anti-war movie (though it is a great film); rather, it literally is a deer-hunting sim of sorts. By “sorts”, we mean that you shoot animals other than deer in this game.

Hunting sims traditionally emulate the calm, even sleepy, pace of tracking game in the forest. This app, however, tries to deviate a bit from the formula by ramping up the action: you get attacked by wolves and bears (which you need to fend off with a knife, of course), and there’s even a “Stampede” mode which takes its cues from—you guessed it— Microsoft’s Halo.

It’s admirable that someone is willing to shake things up in this, frankly speaking, staid niche of gaming. If you want a little more oomph in your big-game hunting games, then better try this one.
