There are literally no extra features or functions here to worry about, there aren’t a bunch of settings to adjust and set up, and things are kept basic and simple. I think that is what makes this app so perfect though. I do wish there were a way to send or print your main screen totals. The other thing is once you close the app you lose your total. It’s too bad there wasn’t a save feature. Obviously you will need to jot down all your information on your order form before you close the app.

I want to note that the app is also incredibly intuitive. Just the lightest tap on the screen registers your total. I like that the running total is always displayed at the top of the screen.

When you want to clear the screen and start a new tally simply tap on the Next button to start all over again. It instantly clears all your totals.

Final Thoughts

The Cookie Scout app is a very simple and basic business tool that is meant to make cookie sale calculations easy and fast. It certainly excels in that area but I do think it could benefit from a few extra features.
