There are times when unfortunately that autocorrect fails or you don't want to open notes and type in a word fully for your iOS to correct it; that's where Speller - Free Spell Checker app is a lifesaver.

Part spell check, part dictionary, Speller is an easy way to check your spelling on the fly.

Sometimes Basic is Perfect

When you open Speller for the first time you'll notice there's not much there, but for this app there doesn't have to be. Just start typing the word you're looking for in the search field in the top of the screen and immediately a list of possibilities begins to populate below.

Nine times out of 10 you will find your word, and different variations of that word before you're finished typing. It works flawlessly, and is perfect for when you're writing a paper for school or composing an answer for a test.

I'm Not Sure What That Means

Speller surprisingly goes a step further in giving you the definition of the word you are trying to spell. This isn't always necessary but it's a nice option to have and it comes in handy.

Just type the word you're looking for and a Google search page opens in the app's window and gives you a brief dictionary definition of the word and how it's properly used.
