Consider this to be your own personal library of laughter. Whether you are looking to make others laugh or you just want a laugh during your day to act as a pick-me-up this is the place to go. As mentioned there are more than 20,000 jokes that are divided into 24 categories. Categories include bar, dirty, animals, food, gender, jobs, holidays, knock knock, and a whole lot more. All the jokes can be shared by SMS, mail, Twitter, and Facebook giving you plenty of ways to share the laughs.

The app is ad-supported but you can remove them with the in-app purchase for $1.99, which seems a bit high just to remove ads. However after using the free version of the app I have found that it is almost unusable in the state it’s in thanks to the continuous pop-ups. If you plan on using this app on a regular basis, you’ll want to remove the ads.

 

Finding Jokes

When you launch the app you will first need to wade through the pop-ups so you can actually get into the app itself. If you manage to get to the categories this is where you can browse through jokes. Jokes display on your screen and you can swipe to scroll through them. You can like or dislike a joke, comment on it, or share it. There is also the ability to mark the jokes as favorites.

Many of the jokes contain adult content so this one isn’t meant for the kiddies. You can search for specific topics or keywords to find jokes that would match with it.

Almost every time I open a new category or a joke a pop-up comes on the screen. In fact it has gotten so annoying that I couldn’t even use the app. Other users haven’t commented on this so perhaps they aren’t bothered by it. The content is fun and you’ll definitely get some laughs, which you’ll need after dealing with all the annoying ads!

Final Thoughts

I would love to give the Jokes© app a positive rating but for me the ads just really made this a frustrating experience. I found it hard to look at anything else within the app.
