This is a very attractive app for iPhone and iPad that provides a variety of tools that you can use to easily search the Internet for free and legal music before downloading it and listening to it, all from directly within one convenient interface.
The best iPad apps for customizing a home screenI have to say that having reviewed fair few media downloader apps over the past few months, I’m not sure that I can really justify the price of this one.
I do think that the developer has done a fantastic job with the visual design of the interface, and the addition of a ringtone maker is always a good thing to see, but I don’t really see anything that you can’t find in a free app, or at least one priced at $0.99.

The basic features of Free Music Downloader & Player & Ringtone Maker include an integrated web browser, a download manager, and an audio player. This enables you to download music and podcasts from the Internet and then listen to them from directly within the app.
The best browsers for iPhoneIn addition to this there is also a built-in ringtone maker, and this allows you to very easily create ringtones for your iPhone out of the music that you download, or from the audio tracks within your existing iTunes music library.
A Little Expensive for My Liking
The browser and audio player have both been developed to a very high standard, and as I mentioned in the introduction, the interface as a whole features a very attractive visual design, but I’m just not sure if this is enough to warrant a $2.99 price tag.
Best iphone and ipad appsOne thing that I feel is worth mentioning is that the audio player in this app supports background audio playback. This is important because you’d be surprised by how many developers neglect to include this very minor (and very obvious) feature!

Final Words
Free Music Downloader & Player & Ringtone Maker isn’t a bad iPhone and iPad app by any stretch of the imagination, and in fact it’s one of the better developments of its kind that I’ve seen recently, but there really isn’t any need to spend just shy of three bucks on this kind of utility, in my opinion.
If you like the look of the screenshots then by all means take it for a spin, but please be aware that you can find very similar apps for a lower price in the App Store.
