Medical students and professionals alike are going to have an absolute field day with this powerful iPhone and iPad app, which includes 141 muscle images with notes, audio pronunciations, a quiz maker, and loads more.
I’ve been utterly fascinated by human anatomy apps recently, and I find it quite amazing how developers are able to create such detailed images and models, basically creating a learning environment that is both engaging and informative.
I’m no medical student or physiotherapist myself, but I definitely have a hobbyist’s level of interest in these subjects so I like to think I’ve developed a keen eye for what makes a high-quality app of this kind, which, by the way, Learn Muscles definitely is!
Learn Muscles : Anatomy Quiz & Reference has been designed to provide doctors, students, physiotherapists, and everyone else with a detailed yet concise point of reference for learning all about the muscles of the human body.
This is largely achieved thanks to a collection of 141 muscles, deep and superficial, with all kinds of notes and annotations. Additionally, you can also add your own notes to each entry, making this a powerful revision tool.
Each muscle also comes complete with an audio sample of the correct pronunciation of its name, so you won’t end up making a fool of yourself like I do when I try to act like I know what on Earth I’m talking about!
