Chuggington Puzzle Stations! - Educational Jigsaw Puzzle Game for Kids involves riding a train and visiting six uniquely themed train stations, namely Chug Patrol HQ, Drop & Load Yard, Safari Park, Quarry, Rocky Ridge Mine, and Ice Cream Factory.

Although this is a free app, only Chug Patrol HQ of all six stations is accessible to the user. Each new station can be unlocked by making in-app purchases of $2.99, or all of the stations can be purchased for $9.99. This is not a bad deal though, as it allows you to try out the “demo version” of the game for free to see if your child enjoys it, before purchasing all the stations.

Each station consists of three types of puzzles, including jigsaw puzzles, connect the dots, and find the hidden object. These games have three difficulty levels for each station and the difficulty level is intuited and adjusted automatically by the app.

All puzzles in Chuggington Puzzle Stations! - Educational Jigsaw Puzzle Game for Kids involve using the fingers and the jigsaw can even be put together by more than one person, encouraging that parents participate with their children, or for some playtime fun with friends.

Each level, when completed, awards your baby with special collectible Chugger cards for further incentivizing him or her to continue playing and gaining more practice and lessons in reasoning, sequencing, and spatial awareness.

Despite the awesomeness of this app, I did experience one issue: the game crashes sometimes. A white screen appears and there is no coming back to the game. I had to reboot my iPhone for it to start working again. It has to be more than just mere coincidence that other user reviews on the iTunes page of this app have suggested the same issue.

This is a huge drawback on any app, but on an app designed specifically for children, it is almost a deal-breaker. Children do not have the attention span to cope with such standstills.
