Here’s a chance for your kids to get familiar with the classic tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Thanks to the apps available today tales like these are getting a whole new life as they are more engaging than ever. It’s important to note that this app doesn’t actually re-tell the story you are just provided with pictures for kids to color that are taken from the story. Of course you can discuss the pictures with them and tell them the story. After kids create their masterpiece you can then save it, print it, or email it.

What You Get

When you launch this app you are taken to the menu of pictures, and as stated only one is unlocked. From here you can tap on the picture you want to color. You are given a wide range of crayons to color with, there is an eraser tool, you can adjust the thickness of the crayon, and there is a magnifying glass which lets you zoom in on the photo. The magnifying glass is an especially handy tool as I find it's really hard to stay in the lines because the photo has such intricate details. The app states that it can be used by kids’ ages four and up but I have to disagree here. Yes the user interface is simple and kid-friendly but I don’t find the pictures are. The details are so tiny that I can imagine this would be frustrating for young children.

I find overall this one lacks in features and tools, there aren't a lot of coloring options, and overall it just feels kind of dull and disappointing. Because this category is so plentiful I feel like there are better options than this.
