Now it’s time to set up your scare. When you launch the app the user interface kind of hits you like a ton of bricks. There is nothing clean and simple about it. I find it very busy and confusing in fact it took me a while to understand what to do. There are also a number of ads and pop-ups that add to the distraction. Overall it is not the best first impression, unfortunately.

The way it works is that you need to choose the way you will start your scare video. The option that is unlocked is a fake quiz. Next pick your sound and the photo. You aren’t given tons of options here as most of them are locked and require in-app purchases. You can set the trigger, time, scare, sound, scare picture, and the victim video. All of this takes less than a minute. When you finish setting it up you can play a test of it to see what your recipient will be seeing.
