WUSA Radar app review: dedicated weather forecasting for the residents of Washington, DC

The very first thing I would recommend doing upon first starting up WUSA Radar is to tap the house icon in the top right-hand corner of the Map section. From here you’ll be taken to the Locations menu where you can use your device’s integrated GPS to determine your current location and sync the app accordingly.

Alternatively, you can actually manually type in any location you’re looking for. You can also save multiple locations for quick and easy future reference, so this is ideal for those of you who want to keep an eye on out-of-town loved ones.

I’m very pleased to see that the developer has gone to the trouble of including a Video section in this app because a lot of developers don’t bother with this. I think being able to actually watch your weather forecasts adds a nice human element that you don’t often find in weather apps.

As far as the more basic weather forecasting content is concerned, you can find 10 Day and Hourly sections detailing the variances in high and low temperatures, wind speed and direction, chance of precipitation, and loads more across their respective timeframes.
