The WATCH Disney Junior app is the perfect answer. This app allows the kids to tune in any time of day, from anywhere, and watch all their favorite Disney Junior TV programs. The ON DEMAND channel allows kids to watch such popular shows such as Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, and Doc McStuffins. Not only is this app available on your mobile device but you can also access it through your home computer. Kids can turn on the channel and pick up right where they last left off in a show, so there is no need to get upset if they don’t have time to finish what they’re watching. Disney Junior programming is meant to appeal to a broad age group, from ages two to seven. On select episodes/shows closed captioning is available as well. The only catch is that you need to be a current subscriber of Comcast/Xfinity (a U.S. based Internet connection) to access the live feeds and the most recent full episodes. Because the app is meant to entertain the kids, the screens are designed to be easy for them to navigate. Each screen features very few options and what options there are on the screen are easy to find and large. The kids will have no problem at all finding their favorite program, setting it up to play, and even saving it to their own list. While watching a program the bar on the bottom will tell them how far into the episode they are and they have the ability to pause/stop at anytime. There is also a viewing history for them to keep track of all the episodes they’ve already seen.
