iBend Pipe app review: get bent! 2021
Introduction
Whether you’re a carpenter, plumber, electrician, or any other kind of tradesman, you’ll find iBend Pipe bending app to be incredibly instrumental in helping you to quickly and easily calculate various bends and angles. This pipe bender app is compatible with the iPhone and iPad, which makes it very convenient to use when on the job.
The best measurement apps for iPhone and iPad
This conduit bender app is obviously a very niche app without a great deal of competition in the Productivity and Utilities categories of the App Store. But, that obviously hasn’t deterred the developer from making a strong effort to provide a high-quality and reliable conduit bending app for craftsmen of all shapes and sizes.
Includes All Kinds of Angles
I should probably begin this review by saying that I’ve never been much of a DIY-er, nor do I have the first clue about carpentry or how to measure angles and so on.
Best iphone and ipad apps
Rather than make some crude attempt to try and sound like I know what I’m talking about, I thought it best to simply give you a rundown of the angles covered in this app:
- Offsets
- Rolling Offsets
- Parallel Offsets
- 3-Bend Saddles
- 4-Bend Saddles
- Segment Bends
- Concentric Bends
- 90° Bends for any size bender
- Back to Back 90° bends for any size bender
- Kicked 90°s
- Compound 90° around a Round Obstruction
- Compound 90° around a Square Obstruction
- Compound 90° around a Rectangular Obstruction
Designed Specifically for Craftsmen
iBend Pipe allows you to slide your finger in order to adjust measurements and you’ll see that the figures are updated automatically in real time.
What’s more, this app also provides full support for both Metric and Imperial systems of units, and you can directly input fractions rather than having to convert to decimals manually.
Pros & Cons
Pros

- Just slide your finger to adjust measurements and see the figures updated automatically
- The interface has clearly been designed for quick and easy use
- Perfect for carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and more
- Provides full support the input of fractions so that you don’t have to convert to decimals

Cons
- There is nothing negative to say about this app
Final Words
There isn’t really much more for me to say about iBend Pipe because it is a very simplistic iPhone and iPad app.
One thing I would like to add, however, is that you can easily see how the developer has designed the interface with craftsmen in mind; it is simple yet not too vague, and everything is clearly laid out so that you can quickly and easily find the functions you need while you’re on the job.
This is a great addition to the Productivity category of the App Store, and one that I think will make a very worthy inclusion on your iOS device.
