iAmAMan app review: best avoided

Introduction

iAmAMan is the kind of iPhone and iPad app that, when I see it, I just can’t help but shake my head in disapproval; this iOS utility is designed to help you track the periods of multiple women so that you can ensure your ‘hookups’ are well-synced.

I’m going to start this review by simply stating that the overall functioning of this app is very temperamental and you can really see that the developer has focused too much on the concept and not enough on the actual operation of the interface itself.

Other than that, the concept of this app really is one that I have to strongly advise against for all you young, hot-blooded males out there who are looking to boost your self-esteem by dedicating your time, energy, and resources to gaining the approval of multiple women.

Steer Cleer

I’m generally not a judgmental person, but I really do not like the idea behind this app. The basic concept is that you can input the menstrual cycles of either your girlfriend or girlfriends so that you can ensure your dates and hookups are timed well.

I’m only 27 years old myself, but come on guys: you can do so much more with your life than spending two bucks on an app to track the periods of several women. Start a business, take up a hobby, learn a musical instrument; you’ll find yourself feeling far happier and more content with your life, I promise!

Instead of using iAmAMan, I would instead recommend spending those two dollars on buying a rose or a cheap bunch of flowers for your girlfriend or wife. If you’re single then even better, treat yourself to a candy bar!

Anyway, that’s enough unsolicited advice from me, so please take a moment to think about what you’ve just read and ask yourself if there is more you could be doing with your time.

• Bolster your self-esteem by dedicating your time and energy to gaining the approval of multiple women

Cons              

• Not only is this an ill-conceived development, it also appears to be rather temperamental for users: “Shuts down when I try to change the password, so that's useless. Needs to be made more user friendly as well.”
• “I like the program, but it shuts down when I try to use it. Tried resetting, reinstalling, restarting, but still does the same thing.”

I think I’ve rambled on enough, so in closing I would like to reiterate that in my humble, humble opinion iAmAMan for iPhone and iPad is definitely best avoided.
