For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later
Brain Puzzle FREE by Zariba Ltd. is a free Christmas version of the game Brain Puzzle. You’ll get 100 bonus Zold when you install the app.
This is an app that will test your brain every time you play. The games and puzzles will get increasingly harder. Your goal is to solve each puzzle within the time limit given and earn a Bronze, Silver, and Gold star; in turn earning Zold. When you spend Zold, you’ll unlock puzzles throughout the game. If you earn Gold stars on every puzzle, you’ll earn enough Zold so that you can unlock all the puzzles in the game and play through entirely for free.
If you fail to earn enough Zold, you can make in-app purchases to buy more. You also have the option to complete some free offers to earn more Zold.
When you launch the app, you’ll see that you have a button there to remove the ads with an in-app purchase. If that doesn’t bother you, then just leave them be. You’ll also notice that you’ve been awarded 100 free Zold pieces.
You’ll see that you’ll have three game options. The first, Exotic Animals, requires you to match them by twos, like in a game of Memory. You’ll get three minutes to make all of the matches.
In Tilt and Go, you have to tilt your iOS device to make the ball move; the more you tilt it, the faster your ball will go. Steer the ball through the maze and get it into the hole marked at the end without falling into any pitfalls on the way. You get two minutes.
In Pentagrammon, you have to connect all of the dots on the screen without lifting your finger or crossing any lines. You’ll get three minutes to do this puzzle.
Brain Puzzle Free was updated to Version 1.9 on December 3, 2012. It’s available in eight languages. It currently has 238 total customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars. Feedback is positive.
I found this game is really challenging; if you’re the type of person to get stressed out over difficult games, then don’t download this app. If, however, you’re up for the challenge, go ahead and try it out.
