There are themes that you can use to customize the user interface, you can sync your bookmarks with Chrome and Firefox, and the app supports the two-tab style (classic and thumbnail).

When it comes to browsing you can view the entire screen and then navigate with the toolbar or gesture. If you need to share files, not a problem as you can so by email, WiFi transfer, or iTunes file sharing. You can also use Dropbox and send any downloaded files there by using two simple taps.

In order to download a file, link, or image just hold down on it. The browser is able to perform multiple downloads at one time.

We all know that ad banners can be pretty annoying which is why you can block most of them with the URL filtering engine. When you first download/launch the app the default is to have this feature turned off. If you want to block the ads you'll need to adjust the settings.

Mercury Browser was updated on Dec. 21, 2012 and currently has 4,071 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

I found this to be a very adequate web browser with all the features you would need. I liked that I could sync my bookmarks too so I didn’t even need to input that information again. It might not be the best browser app for iPhone and iPad, but it's a decent offering.
