Epic Drum Set by Ronald Bell turns your iPad into a full-fledged set of drums to let you taste what it’s like to be a musician.

This app is all about creating music and living it up as a drummer. This isn't meant to be a game though, as this app is loaded with high-quality features that result in some fabulous sounds.

Not only will you be able to drum to your own beat but you can also record your drum solos so you can play them back for you and your friends to enjoy. You can save these recordings and then pick a favorite song from your iTunes library and play along with your song. You will literally be throwing yourself right into the music.

Features include a selection of four different sets of drum. Two sets are free. These sets include junk, hard rock, industrial, and standard. Listen to them all and get a feel for their distinct sounds. All are incredibly realistic-sounding.

As an added level of fun you can use the bass drum pedal in your solos.

All the controls are very easy to use with the focus being on the beats of the drum.

This app is a whole lotta fun to play and very easy to use. The sounds are so incredibly realistic it's really quite impressive. The one downfall is the amount of ads, it can feel as though you're being drowned in them.
