Duck Commander

Price: $4.99 (as of 3/9/13, marked down to Free)

Duck Commander by CBC HTV LLC is a sports app that lets you celebrate the launch of Season 3 of Duck Dynasty with this incredibly professional duck hunting app. This app is free for a limited time only so grab it now while you still can!

Duck Commander is specifically designed for duck hunters and will help ensure if it flies, it dies! Hunt like the experts with the tips and tricks provided in this app. The app allows you to create and save each of your blinds, view all your blinds on a map or in a menu, and track the total number of hunts and kills for each blind. Keep informed on current and future weather conditions, including radar, wind direction, and speed.

It's easy to keep detailed hunt logs organized with location, date, and weather. Keep track of your hunting buddies, their body counts, and specimens collected. Take detailed notes, photos, and even video to share with friends and family through Facebook, Twitter, or email.

Make sure everything remains legal with quick access to state laws, bag limits, and shooting times.

Duck Commander was updated to Version 1.2.1 on April 18, 2012. It has a total of 58 customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars. Feedback has primarily been positive with the only complaint being its price. With it currently marked down to free there is no good reason why everyone shouldn’t download this app today.

I am not much of a hunter but I can see how this app would be incredibly helpful for anyone who is. The app provides a wealth of information and a great set of tools. One of my favorite features is having access to The Duckmen show; it’s a great watch!

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 3.0 or later
