Miss Spider’s Tea Party by Callaway Digital Arts Inc. is a charming app for children, utilizing high-quality CGI to tell the tale of Miss Spider and her quest to find friends to invite to her party.

Children can either read along or listen to an audio narrative of the story, and there are plenty of games to play and puzzles to solve to help Miss Spider organize her tea party.

This app enables kids to activate various multimedia features by touching the screen, and they can even use their fingers to paint pictures, while enjoying the rich musical soundtrack and audio effects.

Miss Spider’s Tea Party for iPad was updated to version 2.0 in early-March of 2013. The current version has a total of 19 customer ratings with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. Customer reviews are generally very positive.

This has recently been changed from a paid app to a free app with ads; however, the developers have provided the option to remove ads for $0.99 via an in-app purchase.

I think this is a delightful little tale. My daughter just loves interactive storybook apps and Miss Spider’s Tea Party has been no exception. Some children’s app can be somewhat lacking in the graphics department, but this app is visually very well-delivered which makes it all the more enjoyable.
